Hi, all,
Thanks for reading! I'm a long time lurker and I just had a quick question. I'm planning on testing in June and here's the schedule that's been working for me so far:
Each day I read about 4 chapters of Kaplan (from 2 different books), make Ankis of them and go through other Ankis. I also do at least 3 CARS passages a day. I do a diagnostic or half length every weekend. To supplement my content review, I want to start doing practice questions.
I should be done with going through the Kaplan books by end of March. But while I'm going through them, I want to start testing how much I retain and can apply. I've read that UWorld and AAMC materials are great. Is it better to start AAMC Qbanks now while I'm going through material and not get UWorld? Or is it better to start off with UWorld and then switch to AAMC Qbanks and SB closer to the exam (i.e. May)?
I don't want to buy both if it's better for me to just start with AAMC Qbanks. I'm planning on taking the AAMC diagnostic this weekend (After doing 1/2 length Altius and NS Diagnostic) so it would save me money if I just bought the online bundle for AAMC instead of buying UWorld + AAMC online bundle.
Let me know if my question makes sense! Thanks for your help!
The AAMC materials are very close to what the actual exam is like- closer than any other test prep material you can find! I would highly recommend this! UWorld is not needed, but if that is your learning style- go for it!
