Hey really great question. My recommendation for you would start studying for certifications. I would recommend Net+, Sec+, CCNA R&S and CCNA Sec. One of these is enough to get you an entry level IT position. Once you get a bit of experience then you apply for higher paying jobs or get promoted. There are many intern jobs you can apply for in data centers as well.
