Hey!
First of all, how long have you been doing content review for? Be honest with yourself. A month or two for 1 hour every third day of the week or a month or two for at least 2 hours every day? My point is, have you been consistent with your content review?
Secondly, which test prep company do you use to take FL's? Are you using AAMC or Kaplan (or something else)? If you are using Kaplan or any similarly content heavy test-prep company, I agree--you should do more content review. If you are getting 480's on AAMC material, I strongly urge you to purchase the Uworld Qbank and do many practice questions AND review the answers to them all thoroughly every single day until your test. Exhaust the question bank. Read through each answer explanation. Doing this will not only prepare you for the content on test day, but it will also prepare you for the logic of test day.
It is also important to purchase all (if not most) of the AAMC material and go through all of it (and review your answers) in the last month before your exam. This will also help solidify your grasp of MCAT logic.
Lastly, go stand in front of a mirror in absolute silence and ask yourself this: "Am I willing to be a doctor enough to take time off my job/change my hours/quit to give myself a good month of dedicated study time?" I understand you have to pay the bills, but if you have savings to support you for a month (at least a couple of weeks) so you can study eight hours a day, I strongly encourage you do so. Do those practice questions. Do 50 every day if you can and review them all that day. You will see your score rise dramatically within a week or two. Good luck!
