Hey, I would recommend that you just focus on reactions of biomolecules. Amino acid and sugar chemistry are the big ones, with some lipids (like glycerol and triacylglycerols) showing up on there. So, focus on carboxylic acid and derivative reactivity (amides, esters, etc) and alcohols/ethers (in sugars and TAGs). You're not going to see anything like an alkyl halide on there, so just focus on the bio-relevant stuff. The most important stuff is knowing what all these compounds are and what you need to make an amide, etc. You don't need to know mechanisms, although having a high-level knowledge of the mechanisms for these bio-relevant mechanisms might get you a point or two if you're really going for a high score.
