How to convert Word (doc) to PDF in linux?

I have a set of files in **.doc** format, that need to be converted to **.pdf** format. I am using Ubuntu linux.

Hi there! When saving your document, click "Save As"

There will be a drop down box which will say .doc for "File Type"

Change the file type to PDF and hit save, and then you're all done!
