Notice that y=e^x and x-y+1=0. We can solve the other one for y such that y = x+1. If x = 0, y = 1. Notice when x = 0 and y = 1, these numbers hold for both functions y=e^x and y = x+1. Hence, (0,1) is the solution point where both graphs cross.
