I assume that this is the identity (1-cos(2t))/sin2(t) = 2 cot2(t)
(1-cos(2t))/sin2(t) =(1-(cos2t-sin2t))/sin2t=(1-cos2t+sin2t)/sin2t=2sin2t/sin2t=2
