Hi Dazzmine, you're looking for the "change of base formula" (you can google it) Logb x = Loga x/Loga b
Common logs have a=10 and when a=10, we usually don't write it.
Natural logs have a equal to e and we usually write ln x instead of logex.
The common log would be log 96 / log 8.
