asked 02/25/19The London Eye is the world's largest ferris wheel. It has a diameter of 450 feet and completes one revolution every 30 minutes. It rotates slowly enough that people can get on and off the ride as it turns. Suppose a person boards the ride at ground level.
a) Find a formula for the person's height h( in ft.) as a function of time( in minutes after the person boards the ride)and sketch a graph of this function.
b) At what times during the first 30 minutes will the passenger be 100 ft. above ground?
