Prassana, there is only one way this will work. Remember that A = l x w and P = 2l + 2w.

 

Since the area is 25, we have 5 x 5 or 25 x 1.  2(5) + 2(5) = 20, which is not greater than 50.

 

2(25) + 2(1) = 52, which is greater than 50.  Our rectangle is 25" long by 1" wide.
