Utilize the property of addition of logarithms in which log23+log2x = log23x. Again do the same for the right hand of the equation in which the final equation becomes:
log23x=log25(x-2). Now you could remove the logarithms since they are on both sides of the equation in which the final equation becomes:
3x=5(x-2). Now you could use simple algebra to solve for x.
