y intercept at (0,h) and x intercept at (k,0)
the hypotenuse is sqrt ( h^2 + k^2)
the area is 8 , so 16 = hk
Finally the slope is m = -h/k
The equation is then y = (-h/k) x + (h+C) where C is a fixed number constant
which accounts for the translation
The equation in bold above may be useful once you provide more info,
like where the intercepts really are, and how many units the line was translated
vertically as well as what direction, etc
