Probability

If a parent had a genetic disorder that had 8 children, 7 were healthy but 1 child was found to have a genetic disease, what are the odds that the parent carries the disease? The nature of the genetic disease is that there is a 50% chance it can be inherited and a 50% chance it has occurred as a genetic mutation totally of the blue (so not inherited).
