The sum of the three smallest of four consecutive odd integers is 30 greater than the largest integer. What is the largest integer?

I need help figuring out the equation and how you got them. I have trouble with word problems and would like some help. Please and thank you!

4 consecutive odd integers are 2k - 3, 2k - 1, 2k + 1 and 2k + 3

The sum of the 3 smallest integers is 6k - 3 and this number is 30 + 2k + 3, i.e.

6k - 3 = 30 + 2k + 3

4k = 36

k = 9 and the integers are 15, 17, 19, 21
