How do I multiply -3/7 times two

I’m doing the slope intercept form and it only gives me two points I know how to get the slope but after that I’m stuck.

I assume you found the slope m for 2 given points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂).

 

y = mx + b

 

Use either point to find b:

 

y₁ = mx₁ + b

 

or

 

y₂ = mx₂ + b

 

They should give the same value of b.  Now what does this have to do with multiplying -3/7 times two?
