-log(x) = -1.8140
1) Multiply the entire equation by -1.
log(x) = 1.8140
2) When the log is in base 10, the inverse of y = log(x) is y = 10^x. Therefore, you can eliminate the log by performing the operation 10^(each side of the equation). When you do this, you'll get:
10^(log(x)) = 10^(1.8140), which reduces to:
x = 10^(1.8140) = 65.16
