I left this question unanswered for a while, hoping that another tutor would be able to help, but no one has.
First of all, I think you mean f(z) = 1/(z + 3i).
I am not sure about this, but at least it will give you a start.
I think the power series expansion of f(z) = 1/(a + z) is as follows:
(1/a)[1 - (z/a) + (z/a)2 - (z/a)3 +....(-1)n(z/a)n
I am NOT sure of this...you should do some studying to check this out for sure!!!!!!
