Okay. So we know that the sum of the 3 angles is 180 degrees. So we can say that X + Y + Z = 180. So, if we call the first angle ( X), then we know that the 2nd angle (Y) is 3 degrees less than twice the first angle, So, in other words, Y = 2X - 3. In addition, we know that the 3rd angle (Z) is 8 degrees more than twice the first angle. So, in other words, Z = 2X + 8. So now you have : X = X , Y = 2X - 3, Z = 2X + 8, Now, all 3 angles must total to 180 degrees so, X + Y + Z = 180....... Now, you substitute from above: X + (2X - 3) + (2X + 8) = 180 X + 2X - 3 + 2X + 8 = 180, 5X + 5 = 180, 5X = 175, X = 35, So, the first angle is 35 degrees.... The 2nd angle is 2(35) - 3 = 67 degrees.... The 3rd angle is 2(35) + 8 = 78 degrees... I hope that helps. :)
