y' = x²(4^x)ln 4 + 2x(x⁴)  which can be put into factored form, should you desire.

Answer 2

y = 4^x · x²

 

y = e^{ln(4^x)} · x²

 

y = e^{x ln(4)} · x²    [Log Property: ln(a^b) = b ln(a)]

 

Use the Product Rule to find the derivative.  Remember that ln(4) is just a constant.
