Is travel nursing right for me?

Hi Cindy, Travel nursing can be a wonderful experience but then again not so much. You need to have good assessment skills and realize they are already short staffed hence the need for agency nurses. Many times you will find staff members will dump on you because they think you are making the big bucks. Asks lots of questions from your recruiter about the facility and why do they need you. Be prepared to be quick study and pick up on policies and the units culture effectively. I had a wonderful experience in the ED. Remember......you get out of it what you put into it and..... you assignment will end at some point and you wont have to go back. L;)

if you have a lot of experience in nursing then it is fun to travel. In each hospital, you will learn different thing. The only down part of traveling is that in some states there are no ratios
