What we need to use is the point-slope formula:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
Insert the values:
y - 10 = -2(x - (-4))
Subtracting a negative:
y - 10 = -2(x + 4)
Distribute:
y - 10 = -2x - 8
Add 10 to both sides:
y = -2x + 2
