Two numbers that sum to 9 and difference is 3

I really really really really need to know what this answer is.

n + m = 9
n - m = 3
 
Add the 2 equations and get
 
2n = 12
 
n = 6
 
m = 9 - n = 9 - 6 = 3
 
Test the answers.
