Help please I don't know where to put the dots on the line and I dont even know how to solve after that :(

the length of EG is 6 so G is 6 units away from E. If E is at 3, then G is at 3+6 = 9

 

X is 12 units away from E so X is at 3 + 12 = 15

 

This assumes you are not using negative numbers.
