what are the main reasons why students consume alcohol?

I am conducting a research paper in Research methods, and I'm looking at the alcohol consumption in a high school in my Town and I need an expert source in my research paper. Please help me!!

I nominate peer pressure and immaturity as big reasons. With poor parenting, and a false sense that getting drunk is fun and/or funny, some elements of society may see this as a viable experience. Also, there can be aspects of predisposition to addictive behavior.

 

I'm fairly sure that you can find a lot of research online.
