how to create a local server using laptop and router?

I want to make my laptop a server which can be accessed from anywhere anytime.

Also, I want to use the router in order to connect with as many no. of laptops and other devices as possible.

Can you help me with this?

This question needs more information to be answered with completeness. It can be done many ways, but if you're looking to make your laptop act as a server. You will first need to ensure that you have a static IP address from the ISP for this connection. If you don't your IP address over the internet will change, but if this is server just for you to access only and not publicly used. You can use other methods in place of it.
