can you help me with math I don't understand that.

Evaluate the given expression for z = 3 − 5i and w = 4 + 2i.

/ z + w

the bar above the z+w means 'conjugate'

You have a slash before the Z
Is something missing from the problem statement or is that just a typo?
 
Z + W = 3 - 5i + 4 + 2i = 7 - 3i

If you are looking for the conjuage of the sum of Z+W then:
 
Z + W = 7 - 3i
 
The conjugate of 7-3i is 7+3i

As for conjugates... just put the term in a + bi format and
then change the sign in the middle.  :-)
