i= 1/(1-n). Which means N= (i-1)/i - How?

I am trying to separate for "N" .. I know the solution, just not how it was achieved.

Any help is appreciated! :)

Thanks, David!

But here's where I got stuck..

"-in = 1 - i
in = i - 1"

1. How did the negative (-in) becomes positive (in)
2. And how did (1- i) switch to (i - 1)

Is there a property I am forgetting?

I divided both sides by -1, which changed all the signs, and switched things around.

-in = 1 - i
in = - 1 + i
in = i - 1

Sorry to confuse you by skipping a step.
