Limits problem?

Lim            (1-cos (sqrt x))/ x

x-->0+

 

The answer is 1/2 But I don't understand how to get that?

You may want to try graphing the function from, say from x=1 "down to" x=0 and then look at that graph as x—>0+  

 

x = 1       f(1) = ?

x = 1/10     f(1/10) = ?

x = 1/100    f(1/100) = ?

x = 1/1000   f(1/1000) = ?

...
