write the slope-intercept form equation of the line with slope 2/3 that passes through the point (0,-3)
The slope intersection form is Y= mX + b; to find b we have:
Y = 2x/3 + b
replacing the given coordinates we obtain
b=-3
the equation will then be:
Y= (2X/3) -3

Chalyce, this one is straight forward.  Slope intercept form is y=mx+b, with m being the slope and b being the y-intercept.  Remember that along the y-axis, x=0.  You have the slope and y-intercept. Simply plug them in.
