Fractions word problem

he Year 4 children raised £150 at the summer fair. They made 2/5 of it by selling cakes They made 1/3 of it by selling biscuits. They made 4/6f it by selling lollies. The rest of the money came from selling chocolate covered treats. How much money came from selling chocolate covered treats?

NO WAY....

2/5 + 1/3 + 4/6 =

2/5 + 1/3 + 2/3 =

2/5 + 3/3 =

2/5 + 1 =

2/5 + 5/5 =

7/5 which GREATER THAN 1=100%

And this does not count the chocolate covered treats

cakes: 2/5 * 150 = 60

biscuits: 1/3 * 150 = 50

lollies: 4/6 = 2/3 and 2/3 * 150 = 100

This far the total is 210, and they only raised 150...
