• F = Force
• m = mass of baseball = 145 gm = 0.145 kg
• Δv = change in velocity = 160 - (-90) = 250 mph ≅ 111.76 m/s
• Δt = change in time = 0.7 ms = 0.0007 sec

 

Note that I converted everything into the mks system of units.  Now you can compute the force:

 

F = (0.145)·(111.76/0.0007) = ____ newtons
