Let me help you with this...just know that I will not give you the answer but help you work to find the solution so that you will have the skill to solve others like it.
First of all, do you understand what the question is asking you to solve?
And do you understand what the y-intercept is...where it is?
If you can answer these two questions, then you're on your way. If not, then you will make sure you know what Algebra properties and operations you'll need to use to solve the equation.
Do you remember the equation: y = mx + b
This is one way to solve the equation OR you can solve for x which will help you solve for the y-intercept.
Work on it and if you still need help, let me know...I would rather you understand how to solve these kinds of equations than just solve it for you.
