A = lw

125 = w(5w)

125 = 5w²

25 = w²

±5 = w      A negative 5 is illogical in this problem.

w = 5 feet

Length = 5w = 5(5)

length = 25 feet

 

P = 2l + 2w

P = 2(25) + 2(5)

P = 50 + 10

P = 60 feet
