Area = L x W
Lets use the answer to the other question i helped you with here!
W = (P-2L)/2
We used the perimeter equation to solver for Width, now we can plug in the right half of this formula to the Area eqaution.
A = L (P-2L)/2
But we know P! The problem told us the perimeter is 24 so:
A = L (24-2L)/2 This is probably fine, but we can clean up by dividing the 2 into the parentheses
A = L (12 - L) or A = 12L - L2
