length of a rectangle is 2 feet less than 5 times the width:
L = 5w - 2
perimeter is 32 feet
2(L+w) = 32
L+w = 16
Since we have L in terms of w already we can substitute
that in place of L in 2nd equation
5w-2+w = 16
6w = 18
w = 3 ft
L = 5w-2 = 13 ft
