Suppose minutes on a cell phone plan cost $0.15 each. Suppose you get 250 free texts each month and additional texts cost $0.08 each. If you send or receive 1,250 texts per month and talk an additional 270 minutes per month, how much will your cell phone bill be?

I SUSPECT there is a flat fee for so many minutes wit

each additional minute costing 15 cents. 

 

But as written:

MINUTES:

     0.15 x 270 = $40.50

 

TEXTS

        1250 - 250 = 1000 texts that must be paid for.

        At 8 cents each, 0.08 x 1000 = $80

 

So as of now, the total phone bill is $120.50
