1.  Plug 0 in everywhere for x into the f function:  3(0)²-4(0)+ 1 = 1

2. Plug 3 in everywhere for x into the g function: 4(3)-3 = 9

3. Plug 1 in everywhere for x into the g function, then plug that answer into the f function:  4(1) -3 = 1, then f(1) is 3(1)² -4(1) + 1 = 0

4.  Plug 0 in everywhere for x into the g function, then plug that answer into the f function: 4(0) -3 = -3, then f(-3) is 3(-3)² -4(-3) + 1 = 40
