Length:

 

l = w + 13

 

Equation of a perimeter:

 

p = 2l + 2w

 

Substitute for p and l:

 

62 = 2 * (w + 13) + 2 * w

 

62 = 2w + 26 + 2w

 

Combine like terms:

 

36 = 4w

 

w = 9

 

The width is 9 centimeters.

 

The length is w + 13, or 9 + 13 = 22 centimeters.
