Function help

My daughter stumped me on this one. Any help on this one would be great.

f(x) =

Where x=-2 y=1,  x=0 y=2,  x=2 y=3,  x=4 y=4

Where 1 formula makes y true in each. Its been awhile for me and not sure on this one.

x increases by 2 as y increases by 1

x=2y-4

y=x/2 +2

y goes up 1 as x goes up 2

dy/dx =1/2

integral of 1/2 = y = (1/2)x + c

plug in any pair to find c

4= 4/2 +c

c=4- 4/2 =2

equtian is y=x/2 + 2
