X l Y
-2l 6
0l 2
5l -8
Slope 2 -6 = -4 = -2
0 - ( -2) 2
- 8 -6 = -14 = -2
5 -( -2) 7
2 - 6 = -4 = -2
0 -( -2) 2
m = -2
Y = -2 X + b
6 = -2 (-2 ) + b
b = 6 - 4 = 2
Y = -2X +2
Efficiency of using any point is equal. Because they are just 2 points on the line.

It is shown that ΔY/ ΔX between all points are constant , equals -2. therefore; the points represent a linear relation, and from each one of the given points graph a line with slope -2 all the points will be on the on the line. There
is no slick work what so ever. Anyone can use Mathematica or else. Still the solution stands tall.
Line is the locus of points with equal slope.
That is where the equation of line in the slope intercept points derive.
any point with coordinates of ( x , Y), and y intercept (0, b), and slope of m:
Y - b = m
X - 0
Y -b = mx
Y = mx +b
