Question

A spinner has equally sized sections, of which are gray and of which are blue. The spinner is spun twice. What is the probability that the first spin lands on blue and the second spin lands on gray ?

The number of outcomes for the two spins are GG,GB, BB, BG and any of these 4 are equally likely.

So the number of ways to succeed i.e.BG is 1 so the probability of BG in two spins is 1/4 or .25.
