In order to add or subtract fractions, one must write them with the Lowest Common denominator. In this case, the LCD is 64. You must first write an equivalent fraction for the 2nd one (1/32) which is found by multiplying it by 1 (in the form of 2/2). It becomes 2/64. Thus, subtract the numerators (29-2) and keep the common denominator. The answer is 27/64.
