Let the 2 consecutive integers be n and n+1.

 

n(n + 1) = [n + (n + 1)] + 14

 

n² + n = 2n + 15

 

n² - n - 15 = 0

 

This does not give integer solutions.  Are you sure it is 2 consecutive integers?  Could the problem have been 2 consecutive even integers or 2 consecutive odd integers?
