Need help. Question is in the description.

Tyler threw the ball in to the air. It landed 2.6 seconds later. He released the ball at 4.5 feet. Figure out a function to model the ball. Only algebraic solutions accepted.

You mean use h(2.6)=0 to solve for initial velocity.

Thank you Michael.  Yes, I mistyped the 2.6 as 2.5
and thus carried through that error.
