Triangle Angle Sum Theorem states that the sum of all 3 angles of a triangle MUST equal 180°.
One angle is 23°. The right angle is 90°. The 3rd angle is unknown (let's call it x).
Write the equation
23+90+x=180
Solve the equation for x, and that will be your answer.
While I like Triangle Angle Sum Theorem (because it works for ALL triangles), there is a corollary ("it follows") that states the acute angles of a right triangle must be complementary.
So, you could use the equation:
23+x=90
