a dartboard with a diameter of 14 cm had foru scoring zones formed by concentric circles. the diameter of the center circle is 2 cm and each ring is 2cm wide. find the probability that the dart will hit the blue region

If the blue region is the 3rd region, it will be equal to the area of the difference pi*5^2 - pi*3^2 = 16pi

Then, P(hitting the blue region) = 16pi / 49pi (49pi is the whole area. see my previous answer)
