The probability that a cube shows 1 is 1/6. 

The probability that both cubes show a 1 is 1/6*1/6 = 1/36

Are they regular, standard, fair dice with numbers 1 through 6?

 

If so then the probability of rolling the "snake eyes" or both ONE is 1/36
