Here's what I answered, on the earlier posting:
The turning point is the vertex; we have a formula for x coordinate of vertex:
xvertex =-b/(2a). NB: a = 1, b = c.
Apparently this equals 3, and when x=3, y = 7.
Does this give you two equations in two unknowns (c & d).. SOLVABLE! Go to it.
