how is cos24 = .424

it says thats the answer i dont know how that is possible because cos24 = .9135... if thats the case what is cos28?

The angle is measured in radians.
 
cosine of 24 degrees is .9135...
 
cosine of 24 radians is .424.....

My apologies for overlooking the last question.
So if the angle measure is 28 radians then
cosine of 28 radians = -0.9626059 <-- rounded to 6 digits.
