you will have to square that binomial and distribute the negative two into the (x-yi) and, in general, collect like terms.

 

Eventually you will have an equation with the left side in the form A + Bi = 2 -i.

 

Then A = 2 and B = -1  where A and B will be in terms of x and y.  In other words, a system of two equations & two unknowns.  Good luck.
